Francis Arnold Registered Dietician

Taking excellent care of your own health is the most loving thing that you can do for those whom you love. You are a beautiful being and I want you to help you beam so brightly that the sun needs shades.

I’m a hybrid between a a cowgirl from Wyoming and a granola-crunching flower child. I was vegetarian for 13 years until I discovered that my diet was promoting my chronic fatigue and chronic pain. Thanks to making necessary changes in my diet, I’m happy to report that I no longer suffer from chronic anything.

I earned my degree Dietetics at the University of Nevada, Reno, where my professors nominated and awarded me the “Outstanding Nutrition Student of the Year”. During my studies, I also assisted in three academic research studies with my professors.

After college, I became the nutrition and breastfeeding coordinator at Women, Infants and Children (WIC) for the Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada. In 2010, I completed a 1200-hour dietetic internship with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in Seattle.

As a certified yoga teacher since 2000, I’ve learned that health is multi-dimensional: mind, body, emotions and spirit.
I’ve recently begun podcasting and blogging about healthy lifestyle. The goal is to spread the good news about how to keep healthy, energized and thrilled about life.
