Blood Pressure Lowering Smoothie Recipe

(Makes 2 quarts.  You can freeze portions and defrost as needed)

Ingredients:

1 cup FULL fat yogurt (the plain kind); this can be tricky to find at the Supermarket as most have the low fat kind.

¼-cup Frozen Blueberries.  I buy the fresh ones when they are in season and freeze them in a zipper bag.  These are also in the frozen food section at your local QFC

½-Fennel Bulb.  Cut this into golf-ball sized pieces so it is easier to blend

2 Kale stocks. Strip out the stalks

1 banana.  Peeled. Of course.

1 apple. Cut into small pieces for the blender.

½-1 Cup Almond Milk.  It is OK to also use other milks of your choice

Place all of the ingredients in the blender and enjoy!
