
Many Sound Health members have already met and worked with Pam McCammon, Sound Health Physician personal trainer. In this season’s Well Now! we are spotlighting Pam.
Pam McCammon has been a police officer since 1990. She is currently a Seattle police detective investigating domestic violence cases.
Pam earned a bachelor’s degree in 1980 and master’s degree in 1984 both from Portland State University.
She then taught Health and Physical Education for 13 years in Oregon before moving to Washington and joining the Seattle Police Department.
Pam participated in athletics in high school and college and has coached several sports including basketball, softball, track and field and most recently youth soccer.
Pam has a commitment and excitement for movement and fitness; she is an avid cyclist and loves walking, running and resistance training.
In 2009 she earned her Personal Training Certification through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) with extra focus work in Elder Fitness and Lifestyle and Weight Management.
Pam considers it a highlight and honor working with people to reach their fitness goals.
